In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved. ~Franklin D. Roosevelt

Madison was excited to finally see Opal once again. This time was for the fourth of July. They spent lots of time on the trampoline and loves watching the smoke bombs. Maddie was sad when they were over with and there was no more.

Both Maddie and Opal didn't really care for the hot fire on sticks, aka sparklers. Maddie did end up doing on and sort of twirling it around. We went down to an apartment down near the fort and got to watch the fire works out of a conference room. It was very cool. James says next time we should go on the roof. This year was not a n option with a 2 year old and 3 year old. I thought it shook enough inside ;) Guess we will see. I hope that everyone had a great fourth!
